TONIGHT: SUPERGIRL’s Mom Alura (Erica Durance) Suits Up & Comes to Earth to Stop Serena & the Worldkiller

CW image. Erica Durance as Alura Zor-El.

Welcome to Earth.

Tonight on Part One of the Supergirl season finale, Kara’s Mom Alura (Erica Durance) suits up and comes to Earth with Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and Mon-El (Chris Wood) to stop Serena and the Worldkiller.

What is Serena (Anjali Jay)’s nefarious plan for Earth?

Make it Reign is directed by VFX whiz Armen Kevorkian.

Whatever Serena’s plan is, it cut short Kara’s own plan of spending time with her mother on Argo City. Mon-El came along.

And that’s where the trouble started last week. Someone attacked Kara and Mon-El as they walked through the Argo City market.

Filmed at Van Dusen Botanical Garden.

I joked it was Mon-El but it was a minion of Serena and the Worldkiller cult.

Teaser:

Later Kara and Mon-El had a moment before another attack.

Filmed at Bloedel Conservatory.

Mon-El confessed he still has feelings for Kara and she stroked his face.

Also of interest last week:

Kara’s childhood friend Thara Ak-Var (Esme Biano) is the identity of superhero Flamebird who works side-by-side with Nightwing in the DC comics. Will Supergirl be introducing these new characters in the season finale or season 4?

Supergirl airs tonight at 8 p.m. on The CW.

The season finale is next Monday at 8 p.m. on The CW (Showcase in Canada).

Supergirl Season 4

Welcome to Supergirl, Sam Witwer.

Sounds like you’re a season 4 Big Bad — as Agent Liberty, the founder and head of hate group Children of Liberty that supports a human-first world order.

Supergirl filmed several sequences with Sam Witwer in downtown Vancouver’s Harbour Green Park yesterday, starting the day with him running with others in the park from some kind of threat. Alien threat?

Then with a stretch limousine where he’s walking down the street and stops to talk with someone inside.

Who’s inside? This woman.

Finally, Sam Witwer filmed  a sequence with Lena Luthor (Katie McGrath) herself, according to fans.
